Sure we all have our makeup staples and cult favorites, and I’m willing to bet that a lot, if not all of them are from global makeup brands. Well, there’s one new homegrown makeup brand that just might make you switch your expensive imported products for their reasonably priced, prettily packaged, and highly pigmented goodies: Pink Sugar Cosmetics.

It’s a local label Filipinas will be proud to have in their vanities—a product line that ranges from skin to color cosmetics in quality formulations suited for Filipina skin. I’ve swatched the products (especially the lip color, see below), and I can guarantee that their pigments can rival that of your favorite brand known for pigmented products. Each Pink Sugar product lasts long, with a color payoff that makes each swipe worth it.

The fab packaging made of colourful patters alone is enough to draw you in and would make you want to unbox each product, and once opened, reveal sophisticated vessels in predominant black or metallics. Wordplay will get you excited too: the lipsticks, blush, tints, and eye shadows come with cute names, and include a black liner cheekily named Honey, I’m Good!

The brand has all the pink lipstick shades that I want, two of which are in the same shade as my blog, called Catfight and Gossip—haha, love ‘em! Lipstick prices are at P299 for HD and P349 for Creamy Matte. See swatches below.

My favorite product from Pink Sugar is Sugar Tint Lip and Cheek Tint (P349) that goes on rich and creamy yet finishes matte and lasts all day, no kidding, even after eating and drinking! It has a sweet grape scent, too, for some reason. Make sure to put just a teeny-tiny dot on each cheek—I was serious about the pigments! Check out the swatches of all five shades below.

Every beauty girl knows that behind each sold out lipstick or cult concealer favorite is a product formula that makes women look beautiful and feel comfortable. Each Pink Sugar product is cruelty-free and paraben-free, only containing ingredients that not only beautify, but care for the skin and the environment in the process.

Click through the gallery below for full prices and details of each product line so you can already start including all of them in your Christmas shopping list. Most of the products are between P299 to P499, with only one item, the Eye Candy Eye Shadow Palette, at P699.

Pink Sugar Cosmetics is now available at SM Aura, SM Makati, SM Marilao, SM Manila, SM Fairview, SM MOA, SM Clark, SM Lanang Premier Davao, and Watsons at Ayala Center Cebu—and soon in more SM and Watsons branches, we’re told! You can also get them from BeautyMNL.com.
