I’m Ms. Practical, my friends and family know that. It took me a while to buy myself an “expensive” bag, and by that I mean a Longchamp bag. I don’t believe in buying designer items just because. I want to reserve these splurges for really special occasions—like my wedding one day. I told myself this is the only time I’ll allow myself to purchase designer shoes—perhaps a Jimmy Choo pair, a favorite of celebrities and brides-to-be around the world.
I know I won’t spend on my bridal gown, which I will only wear once, but I can at least splurge on shoes since I can wear them again. I also know I’ll probably wear flats to my wedding if I’m expected to be on my feet the whole time, especially if I make my dream beach wedding come true. I’m thinking, if I must wear flats on my big day, I might as well go with a designer pair like one from Jimmy Choo.

If this is your plan, too, and he already put a ring on it, then you might also want to take advantage of Jimmy Choo’s new bridal collection with an exclusive Made-to-Order (MTO) service exclusive for a limited period in the Philippines. From now until September 30, individual appointments can be made at the Jimmy Choo Shangri-La Plaza East Wing boutique to create your one-of-a-kind pair of dream bridal shoes that will be made in Italy. Expect them to arrive in Manila within four to six months (something to consider when you already have a set wedding date).
Time plate/plaque
The Made-to-Order service offers customers the chance to choose from a tempting suite of pre-selected custom-made signature styles with a myriad of colors, textures, and finishes, as well as varying heel heights. For an extra personal touch, you can personalize the soles of your shoes with the addition of monogram initials and/or a time plate, creating an enduring bespoke memento of your special day.
Monogram Initials
Creative Director Sandra Choi selected her favorite Jimmy Choo silhouettes to represent the House signature style for inclusion in the Made-to-Order program. These shoes are the time-honored iconic designs, adored by clients worldwide and suited for customization, including the Anouk, Lance, Xenia, and Tite.

For a more classic look, brides may choose from delicate suedes, glitter, to lustrous satins. For non-traditional brides who are more cutting edge, materials such as sumptuous leathers, and crocodile or exotic snakeskins are available. All fabrics are done in various colors. The MTO service is great for brides who want very particular dream wedding shoes as well as for shoe aficionados who want to add a pair boasting of skilled Italian Jimmy Choo craftsmanship combined with the luxurious quality of materials used to their footwear collection.

Like your shoes, you can also use your bag again after the wedding (unlike your bridal gown), so why not splurge on a Jimmy Choo clutch to go with your pair? Hey, you only get married once (I HOPE)!
