My husband and I love going on hotel staycations, whether in Iloilo, Manila, or anywhere around the Philippines. My husband used to be a hotelier, and I just love the comfort and luxury of hotel stays. That’s why we always find an excuse to stay in a hotel—be it a birthday, our monthsary, our anniversary, or even when we know we’ll be out late drinking in Iloilo City so we don’t need to drive back to the farm where we live. It wasn’t even such a surprise to friends and family that each month of our first year of marriage, they would always see us on social media posting about yet another monthsary staycation.
Our 11th month of marriage last November 16 was extra special because we decided to stay again at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, the hotel where we stayed on our wedding weekend and where most of our friends and family from Manila and out of town checked in when they flew to Iloilo for our wedding. But that’s not all that made it special. It was perfect timing when I got my Megaworld Hotels Club Access Card, which is now available in Iloilo! My husband and I milked the perks from this amazing card, and we will continue to do so for the entire year of its validity.
Club Access is not just for use in Iloilo, mind you. It actually allows us to experience the best of the Philippines—from the festive city of Iloilo to the splendid shores of Boracay, the chilly hills of Tagaytay, and the thrilling landscape of Manila—with just one privilege card. Discover more of the beauty of Western Visayas and the cities and islands around the country—along with their scrumptious cuisines and more—with Club Access, an exclusive membership privilege card packed with exciting perks and discounts in some of the finest local hotel brands nationwide.
It’s the ultimate must-have for every traveler who frequents Manila, Iloilo, Boracay, Cebu, and Tagaytay—the top tourist destinations in the country. It’s the perfect gift for your loved ones and yourself this Christmas, as travel and experiences are the best, most ethical gifts you can give—just avoid buying material gifts altogether! I list why you and your loved ones should have your very own Club Access card below:
1. You get free and discounted room nights
The Club Access card gives users the following free and discounted nights: One complimentary overnight stay in a standard room at any Megaworld Hotel; one 50% room discount voucher at any Megaworld Hotel; one 50% room discount each at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, Richmonde Hotel Ortigas, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Belmont Hotel Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila, and Savoy Hotel Boracay; and two Complimentary Upgrades to the Next Room Category at all participating hotels.
On top of this, members get unlimited 20% discount on Best Available Rates in all types of rooms, inclusive of breakfast for two. On promotional rates and special holidays, members can still get 10% discount on all types of rooms, inclusive of breakfast for two.
I’m so glad I got my Club Access Card right on time for the holiday season because my husband and I will be traveling to Manila frequently (well, I travel to Manila almost every month!). We also have plans to go to Boracay early in 2019, so I’m already planning to use my Savoy Hotel Boracay voucher then. Those planning to visit Iloilo in time for Dinagyang this January 2019 would enjoy the priority and discounted booking Club Access affords them!

2. The food & beverage discounts and perks are amazing!
Members can indulge in the finest local cuisines for FREE at all participating F&B outlets from any Megaworld Hotel chain when accompanied by one paying guest. I couldn’t believe it myself when I first heard it, but it’s true, and I was able to experience it at our recent stay at Richmonde Hotel Iloilo! To put it in other words, you get 50% off your total bill when you, a member, dines with one companion. My husband and I were so impressed that we got 50% off our total bill at the Zabana Pool Bar and even from room service, on both food and drinks (alcohol included). We normally spend a lot on alcohol (haha, my husband and I love our booze, as you probably know by now), so it was refreshing to get our bill after ordering five drinks each and finding that we’re only paying half the amount.
If a member dines with two guests, meanwhile, you’ll get 30% discount on your total bill; member plus three guests at 25%; and member plus four to 19 guests at 20% discount. Even members dining alone automatically get 30% off the total bill! During special occasions and holidays like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day, members can still get unlimited 10% discounts on their total F&B bills. This is why you really must grab your Club Access Card now that we’re in the midst of the holiday season—it’s the best time to use it!
Richmonde Hotel Iloilo’s The Granary
Indulge limitlessly on food and drinks from Richmonde Hotel Ortigas’ Richmonde Café, The Exchange, and Lobby Café; Eastwood Richmonde Hotel’s Eastwood Cafe + Bar; Richmonde Hotel Iloilo’s The Granary, BizBar, and Zabana Bar; Belmont Hotel Manila’s Cafe Belmont and Roof Top 11; Savoy Hotel Manila’s Savoy Cafe, The Poolside, Connect Lounge, and Zabana Bar; and Savoy Hotel Boracay’s Savoy Cafe, Vienne Lobby Lounge, and Chambery Pool Bar.
3. It’s super sulit—you get more than ROI!
Members can fully enjoy the power of Club Access for an entire year for a P6,999 one-time membership fee (it’s valid for one year until the end of the same month when it was first activated). It may sound like a lot in one go, but just look at the freebies and discounts on dining, rooms—even during special promotions—amenities, and other hotel services that this card entitles you to. Wrapped in elegant royal blue, the Club Access card comes with hotel vouchers that offer complimentary accommodations, room upgrades, and room and dining discounts and freebies. As if that isn’t enough, members also get the following:
- Exclusive Priority VIP Lane for all Club Access members.
- 10% off on Spa treatments.
- 20% off on Gym Annual Membership Fees.
- 20% off on Day Pass use of swimming pool for up to 4 persons (not applicable to Savoy Hotel Manila).
- Complimentary non-motorized water sports activities for maximum of 2 hours in Savoy Hotel Boracay.
- Complimentary wash & press laundry services for up to three (3) pieces of clothing, excluding dry cleaning services, plus 30% discount on next availment of such services when staying as a paying guest.
- Complimentary Scheduled Shuttle service from the hotel to the main station when staying in Savoy Hotel Boracay.
- 15% discount on total food bill for banquets and social events with a minimum spend of P20,000, applicable only to the following hotels:
- Richmonde Hotel Ortigas – Dinner on weekdays, all day on weekends.
- Eastwood Richmonde Hotel – Dinner on weekdays, all day on Sundays.
- Richmonde Hotel Iloilo – All day on weekends.
- Twin Lakes Hotel – 15% off on weekdays and 10% off on weekends (not valid on banquet packages).
The vouchers alone will more than cover your P6,999 investment on the card, but the unlimited discounts you get will save you loads more money during your travels and hotel dining all year.
I asked Megaworld representatives if they plan to increase the cost of Club Access as more properties are added, and they said that so far, the plan is to keep it at this price. That way, as more hotels open, they will add more vouchers and perks, thus making it even cheaper in terms of what you get out of it.

4. It makes your stay more convenient and enjoyable.
“For every stay in the hotel, members will receive our Exclusive Welcome Amenities. There will also be a priority lane for Club Access members so they don’t need to queue in long lines for check-ins and check-outs,” said Natalie Lim, general manager of Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, who also serves as the Club Access spokesperson. Lim also mentioned that they’re planning to offer in-room check-in for members in the future.
The Club Access card is non-transferable, although tagging along another person is always welcome so you fully enjoy your stay at any Megaworld Hotel.
To use, just present your Club Access Card when you book your rooms, when you check in, and when you bill out at the F&B outlets. The member has to be physically present when the card is used, and the member should have the actual card—the hotels will not accept a photo of it, k?
5. It gives members access to the most number of homegrown hotels nationwide and in key tourism sites to boot.
“So far, this is the only hotel privilege card that provides more hotel choices within the Philippines, especially in key tourism areas like Cebu, Boracay, and Tagaytay,” Lim shared. Participating in this privilege program are six existing and ten soon-to-open Megaworld homegrown hotel brands nationwide.
Belmont Hotel Manila
Existing hotel brands included in the first version of Club Access that you can get now are Richmonde Hotel Ortigas, Eastwood Richmonde Hotel, Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, Belmont Hotel Manila, Savoy Hotel Manila, and Savoy Hotel Boracay.
Between 2018 and the next three years, 10 more homegrown hotels will open and become part of the program, making it even more powerful and beneficial than it already is now: Twin Lakes Hotel Tagaytay and Chinatown Hotel in Binondo, Manila, both of which will be opening within early 2019; Savoy Hotel Mactan and Belmont Hotel Mactan Newtown, both in Mactan Island, Cebu; Belmont Hotel Boracay and Chancellor Hotel Boracay, both in Boracay Island; Kingsford Hotel and Grand Westside Hotel in Westside City within the booming Entertainment City near Manila Bay; and the recently announced Belmont Hotel Iloilo in Iloilo Business Park and the Upper East Hotel in Bacolod.

No other membership privilege card offers travelers the fun of experiencing 100% Filipino hotel brands than Club Access. At the end of the day, doesn’t it feel good to be rewarded for supporting our own?
To order Club Access Card for yourself and your loved ones, contact their marketing group via 0995-5326059. They will ask for details that they need to personalize your card and mail it to you anywhere in the country within a couple of weeks. Lim also mentioned that they’re working on a process that will allow you to purchase and pick up the card at the hotels (currently, you can’t do this yet), so watch this space for more updates on that.
