Finally, I can join a few bandwagons on which I’ve been missing out lately.

First, I can now post “Have courage and be kind” on social media and understand where it came from because I finally watched the recent live-action Cinderella.

Well, I’ll try to keep my REAL thoughts about it private, but let’s just say it didn’t help that I read this article before I had the chance to watch the movie, and it really shaped how I saw and what I thought of the film. I mean, it’s one thing to “have courage and be kind,” but it’s also another to put up with extreme bullying—locking you up, making you work without pay, being treated like a slave, etc.—and not do anything about it until a Prince pretty much plucks you from your own miserable situation to save you while you’re doing nothing but singing.

ANYWAY.

I was thoroughly entertained by the movie, for all intents and purposes, misguided messaging aside. I absolutely adored the visuals, especially the outfits and even had a good laugh over the stepsisters’ ball gowns. I loved The Evil Stepmother’s (played by Cate Blanchett) outfits the most!

I also thought the Prince, or Kit (Richard Madden, whom I appreciated more in this movie than when he played Robb Stark in Game of Thrones, haha—clean-shaven guys, FTW!), is really handsome and sweet, and made me think of my own boyfriend (#keso).

Here are two photos of the Prince because I’m feeling generous today. Haha!

Still, I think the best part about watching Cinderella was the short film before it, Frozen Fever, starring our favorite Frozen characters Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf, of course! I will not spoil it for you, but here are are two hints: Snow Babies. Cuteness Overload.

Overall, Cinderella provided a sweet escape, and isn’t that what we love about movies? Why we watch movies in the first place?

Well, if you love movies and pure entertainment as much as I do, here’s another bandwagon we can join: HOOQ, which, I only found out during the Cinderella screening last night, is finally live! (Click this link to read my first post about it.)

Local film and TV content will also be available through partnerships with the country’s top studios, such as GMA-7, ABS-CBN, Viva Communications, and Regal Entertainment.

HOOQ now allows Tattoo subscribers to enjoy unlimited online streaming access and an option to do offline viewing of top Hollywood and Filipino movie and television content on up to five devices for as low as Plan 1299. Contact your Tattoo customer service representative for more information on the available plans. Meanwhile, here’s a 3-step guide to start using HOOQ, according to Tattoo:

1. Go to www.hooq.tv or download the HOOQ app to activate your code and register your account. (iOS users may only register via web browser.)

2. On the Payment Method, select “Globe Activitation Code” to register the code provided and enter this during the installation of the home broadband.

3. Click the link in the email verification you’ll receive from HOOQ. You can now start watching endless movies and TV shows via your web browser or via the HOOQ app on your tablet or smartphone.

Anyway, to close:
