No, this is not yet my review of the three-day Sexy Solutions juice cleanse that I tried from Friday to Sunday just last week, Jan. 10-12 (although please watch for that). I’m sorry I haven’t been as active in posting on my blog–I just had to make the choice to focus on my day job (that of being editor-in-chief of both Kristn.com and TV5.com.ph) when work resumed in 2014…plus, there were certain personal affairs that are now making me wax poetic about, yes, this cleanse that I just went through.

As Cristalle Belo Henares told me via text as she was encouraging me not to cheat on the juice cleanse she let me try, one of the purposes of the juice cleanse is to allow your intestines to rest from munching and digesting all the solid stuff you ingest each day. Another purpose is to basically flush out toxins from your digestive system, so you have a clean slate for when you kick off a healthier diet and lifestyle. I basically agreed to try it because I have a Boracay trip this weekend, but hey, if that’s the whole point of it, then I might as well kickstart a healthy diet, right? I did suffer three days of not chewing for it, hahahaha.

Well, my brain is probably still all mush from not having taken anything solid from Friday to Sunday, but this whole idea of cleansing my digestive system is making me wish there’s a way to cleanse my nervous system and whatever system it is that controls my memories and my emotions, haha! Emo na kung emo, but, god, if I can only flush out over 15 years’ worth of memories and unpleasant feelings that just. refuse. to. go…I will be immensely grateful for it. Sana may cleanse din for emotional baggage and not just love handles, ‘no?

And if so, then I would have cleansed my heart and mind for a healthier lifestyle and mindset that will consist only of positive thoughts and feelings. Erase everything. Let go of all the unhealthy thoughts and feelings–and the sources of these. Bago lahat!

The good news is, I think that’s actually easily done. It’s all about making a choice to keep things positive, to flush out the negative, the unhealthy thoughts and feelings that weigh you down and keep you from becoming your better, healthier self. That’s really what I realized: it’s only as easy or as hard as you make it on yourself. So why not make it easy, right? It’s within your control. (Thank God for this blog–I can actually put such healthier thoughts into writing.) Let’s do this!

Anyway, I’ll write more frequently, I promise. And yes, do watch for my post on the actual juice cleanse that made me lose 4lb. and .5in in just three days! Good night, loves!
