Beauty And The Beast Gelish

Whether you’ve seen the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast or have yet to watch it on the big screen (what’s taking you so long?!), here’s something to feed your Beauty and the Beast obsession and get you ready for your next BATB movie date—whether it’s the first or the third: the Beauty and the Beast collection of popular gel nail polish brand Gelish and its sister brand Morgan Taylor.

Composed of seven shades, all inspired by elements found in both the original animated film and new live-action version of one of the most beloved fairytales ever told, the collection is the brands’ Spring 2017 offering. One thing that makes this collection different is Enchanted Patina, a duo chrome shimmer that is somewhere between a coppery gold and a pink shade that can be worn as is or on top of the other shades to create a shimmery antique look. See how it looks on top (nail of the ring finger) of the Last Petal, a deep velvety red shimmery nail color that I immediately fell in love with:

Other shades include Plumette with Excitement, a light pink crème color; Gaston On and On, a cool light blue shade; Potts of Tea, an ivory white shade with pink shimmer; Be Our Guest, an almost fuchsia pink shade; and Days in the Sun, a buttery-yellow shade reminiscent of Belle’s iconic gown, which I couldn’t resist wearing on my toe nails. Look how it brightened up my feet!

Gelish is the world’s leading gel polish brand that promises up to 21 days of chip- and peel-free nails (I’m seriously considering this for my wedding), while Morgan Taylor is a favorite polish brand among fashion enthusiasts and designers.

The limited edition Beauty and the Beast collection is now available at all Beauty and Butter, Posh Nails, Nail Cocktales, Nailaholics, and other leading salons nationwide, including Kallista in S’Maison, Conrad Hotel. I had my nails done at Nailaholics in Glorietta.
