It seems I have a lot of readers who are fans of aloe vera now, as shown by how my feature on AloeDerma hair care products are among my all-time popular posts on the blog.

And why shouldn’t you be a fan of aloe vera? It truly is a wonder product from nature, with at least eight beautifying effects:

1. Anti-wrinkle. It promotes cell turnover to prevent fine lines and rejuvenate skin.

2. Balances complexion.

3. Tightens skin.

4. Smoothens and soothes skin, especially after plucking and waxing.

5. Brightens skin.

6. Adds luster and body to hair and promotes growth.

7. Moisturizes skin and hair, keeping them hydrated all day long.

8. Heals acne, sunburn, and more. It has anti-fungal and antibacterial properties that discourage infection, as well as dandruff and acne. It is recommended for sunburns, minor wounds, radiation burns and ulcers, eczema, psoriasis, and scalds.

Aloe Derma, a natural skin and hair care brand produced by American Global Health Group, LLC (AGHG), offers a range of products that all use certified organic aloe vera juice and have the highest concentration of aloe vera in the market. Try them in these two forms: gel and juice.

aloe-derma-pure-aloe-vera-gel

The Pure Aloe Vera Gel (P280 for 45g) is a multi-functional skincare product composed of 99.7% Aloe Vera extract certified organic by ECOCERT France. It’s deeply moisturizing and is rich in 230+ vitamins, minerals, and amino acids. I tried it with a DIY Moisturizing Sugar Scrub (watch for my blog post about the recipe), and it helped smoothen and soften my rough and dry elbows, knees, and feet, as well as my chapped lips.

Pure Aloe Vera Gel protects skin from dryness and irritation and repairs damaged skin. It’s meant to tame frizzy hair and messy eyebrows, and aids in the disappearance of redness, itchiness, and rashes. Aloe Vera Gel is supposed to be safe for adults, the elderly, and children.

How to use: Apply directly to burn, wound, rash, or cut three times a day until fully healed. Make sure to wash affected area prior to applying gel. You can also use the gel as hair mask to treat dry, damaged hair; or a face mask, to treat dry, damaged skin.

aloe-derma-super-hydration-booster

The Super Hydration Booster (P215 for 110ml) has all the same benefits as the gel, but in ultra-light juice form. This all-natural Aloe Vera juice is great as an everyday facial moisturizer, without the sticky, heavy feeling of creams and lotions—ideal in our hot and humid weather. It has an organic formula composed of 99.8% Aloe Vera juice, which your skin drinks right up to absorb more than 200 vitamins, minerals, and amino acids, giving your skin that extra healthy glow. It’s reportedly the purest concentration you will find in the market.

How to use: After washing and drying face, splash a little Booster onto your hand and spread evenly onto face. Allow face to absorb the nutrients, and just let it air dry.

You can combine these two Aloe Derma products with other natural products to create skin and hair remedies at home. Watch for my separate feature on DIY beauty solutions you can make using Aloe Vera and other natural ingredients.
