Whether or not you’re going to a beach destination this Holy Week or any time this summer, make sure that your preparations include getting a wax (Brazilian and leg please!) as well as a manicure and pedicure—besides working out for a toned bod (which I hope you have done much earlier).

Aside from awesome promos like this, the two things that always draw me to Nailaholics’ many branches are their lavish yet affordable pampering services and their relaxing and calming Hamptons-themed (read: beach house-inspired) interiors. Nailaholics is a rejuvenating nail and spa sanctuary in the midst of the busiest establishments in the metro.

The Megamall branch is closest to where I live, and while it’s always quite busy—even mid-afternoon on a weekday—the staff manages to make my visit relaxing.

My mom and I recently got our nails done at Nailaholics, and we enjoyed the experience. The moment we arrived for our appointment, we were immediately escorted to our cushy treatment chairs with plump pillows. Then we were given magazines to read and a pot of tea to enjoy while their nail technicians and pampering specialists gave our hands, feet, and legs some TLC.

We got a basic manicure (Serene Island Manicure, P180) and spa pedicure (Water Drift Spa Pedicure, P420). Both include a soak in warm water and a massage besides the regular cleaning and polish application (they have a good selection of shades and brands like Orly, OPI, China Glaze, and the color-changing Ruby Wing). The spa pedicure also involved a longer soak, buffing, and scrubbing using sea salt and virgin coconut oil to soften and smoothen our legs and feet, making them ready to be flaunted.
